<dependencyResolver> Element

The <dependencyResolver> element represents a Drill dependency resolver. At least one <dependencyResolver> element is required in the Drill configuration.

  • enabled - Optional. The value may be true or false. When true, the dependency resolver is enabled and may be read and parsed. When false, the dependency resolver is disabled and will act as though it does not exist in the configuration if an attempt is made to read and parse it.
  • name - Required. The name of the dependency resolver. The name is used as a key to retrieve the dependency resolver's configuration and as the default key that is registered with the DependencyResolverManager class when a name is not supplied during registration.
  • type - Optional. The value must be the assembly-qualified type name of a type that implements the IDependencyResolver interface or the IDependencyResolverFactory interface. When a valid value is configured, the specified type (or the type created by the factory) is used as the root implementation of the dependency resolver. When this attribute is omitted, the default dependency resolver implementation is used.

Child Elements

The <dependencyResolver> element may contain one <drillBits> element.

The <dependencyResolver> element may contain one <rootPathProviders> element.

The <dependencyResolver> element may contain one <searchPaths> element.

Parent Elements

The <dependencyResolver> element is contained within the <dependencyResolvers> element.
